About this hackathon
A free two-day, non-overnight youth hackathon for Grade 8–12 students at Memorial University in St. John's, Newfoundland, hosted by TecNurtur and run as an MLH Member Event. Teams of 1–4 listen to community members, then build and test a prototype (software, AI tools, games, electronics, robotics or physical models) in four categories: Everyday Life, Learning & Discovery, Creative Technology, and Systems & Solutions. Beginners are welcome; 120 free places, first come, first served. Overall, category, beginner and community-choice awards. Nov 21–22, 2026.
