About this hackathon
A one-day hackathon inside AMD Advancing AI Japan on Dec 1, 2026 at Palace Hotel Tokyo, co-hosted by ai& and AMD. Eight teams of selected builders (40 in total) each join a captain from an AMD system-integrator partner and get about 4.5 hours to make a real business problem run on open-weight models (Kimi, GLM, Qwen, MiniMax) served on AMD accelerators via ai& inference, then demo on stage. Apply individually by Nov 9; free, Japanese or English. Over ¥10M in ai& credits: ¥750,000 in credits per person for the winners.
