About this hackathon
A free one-day, in-person hackathon in Berlin on Dec 11, 2026, run by the training non-profit Copernicus Berlin together with AMD. Teams of 3–4 build AI apps that run on-device rather than in the cloud, encouraged to use AMD's Lemonade for local models and GAIA for tool-using agents. The day opens with an AMD workshop on running models and agents on AMD NPUs, then six hours of hacking, project presentations and awards.
