A 48-hour in-person hackathon in San Francisco on getting AI to do research on its own: self-improving systems, agents that run their own experiments, and swarms of research agents. Sponsors include OpenAI, Modal, Cognition, Exa and past.dev, with GPU and API credits, benchmarks, datasets, starter repos and 1:1 mentorship from partner labs.
