About this hackathon
A two-day in-person robotics hackathon in New York (Nov 13–14, 2026) hosted by Viam and Intel. Every team of 2–4 gets a robot arm, gripper, depth camera and an Intel Core Ultra Series 3 machine; train or fine-tune a policy or vision model (ACT, SmolVLA, pi0.5, Anomalib), export it to Intel OpenVINO and run it on the arm through Viam. Three tracks; each winning team member gets an SO-101 arm, a RealSense camera and $5,000 in Viam credits. Rolling applications until Nov 10.
