About this hackathon
Miami's first Codex hackathon, part of OpenAI's DevDay Exchange community events, at The LAB Miami on Nov 7–8, 2026 (12–9 PM ET both days) with The Miami Foundation as title sponsor. Under the theme Agents for Good, 50+ teams take real problems from South Florida nonprofits and ship working AI agents and tools built with Codex, the OpenAI API and the OpenAI Agents SDK. Every participant gets $100 in Codex credits and $50 in OpenAI API credits.
