About this hackathon

A two-day daytime AI hackathon for 12–18-year-olds on Nov 7–8, 2026 at Beijing Yizhuang Experimental Middle School, co-hosted by the Beijing Yizhuang Youth AI Academy (built with Peking University's School of Computer Science) and OSCHINA as a GOTC youth event. About 200 students in teams of 3–5 pick AI-for-science, city and community problems, or future learning; model APIs and compute are provided and open-sourcing on Gitee/GitHub is encouraged. Free; no coding background needed. Top projects are shown at GOTC on Nov 14. Sign-up closes Oct 31.
